Kelsey Scott

Kelsey Scott is an American actress, screenwriter, and director. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, she began her acting career at the age of 13, starring as Robert Guillaume's daughter in the ABC sitcom The Robert Guillaume Show. Scott later graduated from Florida A&M University. She gained recognition for her work as a director and screenwriter, winning awards for her short film The Buse. Scott also wrote the thriller films Motives and Motives 2. In recent years, she has returned to acting, appearing in popular television series such as House, Grey's Anatomy, Criminal Minds, and NCIS. Scott portrayed Anne Northup in the critically acclaimed film 12 Years a Slave. In 2017, she received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for her performance in a short form comedy or drama series.
