    Ken Baumann, born Kenneth Robert Tuff Baumann on August 8, 1989, is a former American actor, writer, publisher, and book designer. He is best known for his role as Ben Boykewich on the TV show 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager.' Apart from his acting career, Baumann has also made a name for himself as an author, with several novels, nonfiction stories, essays, and poems to his credit. He is the owner and co-owner of Sator Press, a publishing company, and has served as the series designer for Boss Fight Books. Additionally, Baumann is a co-founder of the iOS app Sweetspot. In 2014, he enrolled at St. John's College in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Born in Urbana, Illinois, Baumann grew up in Abilene, Texas, where his family owned and operated a miniature horse ranch and wildlife rescue. He got married to actress Aviva Farber on June 16, 2012, in Malibu, California. Baumann is also a member of Giving What We Can, a community dedicated to donating 10% of their income to effective charities.
