He is known for his record-breaking streak on the game show Jeopardy!, where he won 74 consecutive games. Jennings is the highest-earning American game show contestant, having won a total of $4,522,700 on various game shows. Since 2021, he has served as a host on Jeopardy!, alternating with Mayim Bialik. Jennings received a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Host for a Game Show in 2023. He holds the record for the highest average correct responses per game in Jeopardy! history, with 35.9 during his original run.
