Ken Pogue Biography
Ken Pogue (July 26, 1934 – December 15, 2015) was a Canadian actor known for his work in television and film. Born in Canada, Pogue began his acting career in the 1960s and 1970s working on stage at various theaters including the Crest Theatre, Stratford Shakespeare Festival, St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts, and Guthrie Theater. In 1973, he made his motion picture debut in The Neptune Factor. Pogue appeared in several notable films such as The Silent Partner (1978), The Grey Fox (1982), and The Dead Zone (1983), among others. He also had a recurring role as Gerrard in the pilot episode of CTV's Due South in 1994. Pogue's last film role was in the 2006 film The Mermaid Chair where he portrayed Father Dominic.
