Kermit Love Biography
Kermit Love (August 7, 1916 – June 21, 2008) was an American puppet maker, puppeteer, costume designer, and actor. He is best known for his work with the Muppets on Sesame Street. Love began his career as a marionette maker in 1935 and later worked as a costume designer for Broadway and other stage productions. He also appeared on stage in minor roles. Love collaborated with notable figures in the entertainment industry, including the Mercury Theatre troupe and Agnes de Mille. Throughout his career, Love made significant contributions to the world of puppetry and theater. He passed away on June 21, 2008.
