Kerry Lauren Fox (born 30 July 1966) is a New Zealand actress known for her versatile performances in independent films and television. She gained recognition for her portrayal of author Janet Frame in Jane Campion's movie An Angel at My Table, for which she received a Best Actress Award from the New Zealand Film and Television Awards. Fox's international career includes notable roles in Danny Boyle's Shallow Grave and the critically acclaimed film Intimacy, directed by Patrice Chéreau, for which she won the Silver Bear for Best Actress at the Berlin Film Festival.
