Kevin Bacon

Kevin Norwood Bacon (born July 8, 1958) is an American actor known for his diverse roles in film and television. He made his feature film debut in 1978 with National Lampoon's Animal House and gained widespread recognition for his breakthrough role in Footloose (1984). Bacon has appeared in critically acclaimed films such as Diner (1982), JFK (1991), Apollo 13 (1995), Mystic River (2003), and Frost/Nixon (2008). Notable television credits include his Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award-winning performance in the HBO original film Taking Chance. Bacon has also directed the films Losing Chase (1996) and Loverboy (2005).
