Kevin Costner

Kevin Michael Costner (born January 18, 1955) is an American actor, producer, and film director. He has received numerous awards, including two Academy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Costner gained recognition for his roles in critically acclaimed films such as The Untouchables (1987), Bull Durham (1988), Field of Dreams (1989), JFK (1991), Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991), The Bodyguard (1992), A Perfect World (1993), and Wyatt Earp (1994). He also directed and starred in the western epic Dances with Wolves (1990), winning two Academy Awards. Costner has appeared in other notable films like Silverado (1985), Tin Cup (1996), and Mr. Brooks (2007).
