Kevin Covais (born May 30, 1989) is an American actor, singer, and songwriter. He gained recognition as a finalist on the fifth season of American Idol. Covais has appeared in films such as College and Transformers: Age of Extinction, as well as television shows including Good Luck Charlie and State of Georgia. Born and raised in Levittown, New York, Covais is the youngest of three siblings. He was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age eleven and continues to manage the condition. Covais began singing at the age of ten and has taken voice lessons for four years. He aspires to pursue a career in singing, acting, or journalism.
