Kevin Durant

Kevin Wayne Durant, also known as KD, is an American professional basketball player currently playing for the Phoenix Suns in the NBA. Born on September 29, 1988, Durant played college basketball for the Texas Longhorns and was selected as the second overall pick by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 2007 NBA draft. He spent nine seasons with the franchise, which later became the Oklahoma City Thunder. In 2016, Durant signed with the Golden State Warriors and won consecutive NBA championships and NBA Finals MVP Awards in 2017 and 2018. After a season-ending Achilles injury in the 2019 finals, Durant joined the Brooklyn Nets as a free agent in 2019. In 2023, he was traded to the Suns. Durant is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in NBA history.
