Kevin David Sorbo (born September 24, 1958) is an American actor and producer. He is best known for his starring roles in the television series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1995–1999) and Andromeda (2000–2005). Sorbo has also acted in Christian films such as God's Not Dead (2014) and Let There Be Light (2017). Sorbo engages with his audience through social media, discussing his upcoming projects, current events, and politics. Born in Mound, Minnesota, Sorbo is of Norwegian descent and was raised in a Lutheran family. He attended Minnesota State University Moorhead, where he double majored in marketing and advertising. Sorbo began his career as a model for print and television advertising before transitioning into acting in the mid-1980s.
