Keyla Monterroso Mejia

Keyla Monterroso Mejia is an American actress and comedian known for her roles in popular TV series. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Maria Sofia Estrada in Season 11 of HBO's sitcom series Curb Your Enthusiasm and as Ashley Garcia in the second season of Abbott Elementary. Born in 1998 in Hawthorne, California, she is a first-generation American of Guatemalan and Mexican descent. Prior to her major roles, Mejia had minor appearances in other TV shows. In 2021, she played Val in the short film Growing Fangs featured in the Disney+ Launchpad series. Mejia's talent and versatility have made her a rising star in the industry.
