She gained recognition for her role as Cassandra 'Diggy' Andrews in the 2015 comedy-drama film Dope. Clemons has also appeared in other movies such as Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, Flatliners, and Hearts Beat Loud. She portrayed Iris West in Zack Snyder's Justice League and is set to reprise the role in The Flash.
