Kim Bodnia Biography
Kim Bodnia is a Danish actor born on April 12, 1965. He gained prominence for his role as police detective Martin Rohde in the popular Scandinavian crime drama series, The Bridge. In 1996, he starred as drug dealer Frank in Nicolas Winding Refn's acclaimed film Pusher, which brought him international recognition. Bodnia is also well-known for his portrayal of Konstantin in the spy thriller TV series Killing Eve, created by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Throughout his career, he has received several accolades including the Bodil Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and the Monte-Carlo Television Festival Award for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series. He won a British Academy Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2019. Bodnia, who comes from a Jewish family with Polish and Russian heritage, was born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark.
