Kim F. Coates (born February 21, 1958) is a Canadian-American actor known for his work in both Canadian and American films and television series. He gained recognition for his role as Alexander 'Tig' Trager in the FX series Sons of Anarchy and as Declan Gardiner in the Citytv series Bad Blood. Coates has also appeared in recurring roles in popular shows such as Prison Break, Cold Case, CSI, and CSI: Miami. In addition to his television work, he has had film roles in The Last Boy Scout (1991), Bad Boys (1995), King of Sorrow (2006), and Goon (2011). Coates began his acting career after being inspired by a play he saw while attending the University of Saskatchewan.
