Kim Hamilton (born Dorothy Mae Aiken; September 12, 1932 – September 16, 2013) was an American film and television actress, director, writer, and artist. With a career spanning over half a century, from the early 1950s to 2010, Hamilton made significant contributions to the entertainment industry. She appeared in notable films like Odds Against Tomorrow (1959) opposite Harry Belafonte and The Leech Woman (1960). Hamilton was one of the first African-American actors to feature on the soap opera Days of Our Lives and the only African-American to have a speaking part on Leave It to Beaver. She portrayed Helen Robinson in the 1962 film adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird and was the last surviving African-American adult cast member with a speaking role. Born in Los Angeles, California, Hamilton initially aimed to be a model but faced obstacles due to her height and race.
