Kim Sung-cheol is a South Korean actor, born on December 31, 1991. He gained initial success in stage musicals before making his television debut in the role of Kim Young-cheol (a.k.a. 'Jailbird') in Prison Playbook (2017). Some of his notable works include The Battle of Jangsari (2019), Do You Like Brahms? (2020), and Our Beloved Summer (2021). Kim started his career in musicals, appearing in productions such as Puberty, My Bucket List, Werther, and Fan Letter. He received the Best Rookie Actor award at the Korea Musical Awards for his role in Sweeney Todd. Kim has also appeared in the musical rom-com To. Jenny and the film To.
