Kimberley Locke

Kimberley Dawn Locke (born January 3, 1978) is an American singer-songwriter and television personality. She gained fame as a contestant on the 2003 American Idol television series, where she placed third. Locke has recorded in the dance and pop genres, and has targeted the adult contemporary radio format. In addition to her music career, she has also appeared as a cohost on the daytime talk show, Dr. and the Diva. Locke garnered media attention for her participation in Celebrity Fit Club in 2007. Born in Hartsville, Tennessee, Locke grew up admiring singers such as Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, Patti LaBelle, and Diana Ross.
