Kimberly Clarice Aiken

Kimberly Clarice Aiken Cockerham (born October 11, 1974) is an American image consultant, motivational speaker, and former Miss America. She won the titles of Miss Columbia and Miss South Carolina in 1993 before being crowned Miss America in 1994. Aiken made history as the first African American woman to be crowned Miss South Carolina and was only the fifth woman of African descent to win the Miss America title. During the pageant, she impressed the judges with her talent, delivering a stirring vocal performance of 'Summertime.' Aiken has appeared on various television shows and was once recognized by People Magazine as one of the 'Fifty Most Beautiful People.'
