Kimrie Lewis

Kimrie Denise Lewis is an American actress known for her roles in various TV shows and movies. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Poppy Banks in the ABC comedy Single Parents. Lewis also had a recurring role as reporter Ashley Davidson on the popular series Scandal. She graduated from New York University Tisch School of the Arts with a B.A. in Theatre. Her notable appearances include the film Peeples alongside Kerry Washington, Craig Robinson, and David Alan Grier. Lewis has also appeared in commercials for McDonald's, Sherwin-Williams, and Country Music Television. She has recently starred as a main character in the NBC comedy Kenan, and previously guest-starred in The Mindy Project on Hulu.
