Kin Herbert Shriner (born December 6, 1953) is an American actor best known for his portrayal of Scott Baldwin on the ABC soap opera General Hospital and its spin-off, Port Charles. Shriner was born in New York City to Pixie (Eileen McDermott) and Herb Shriner, a popular television personality. After the tragic death of their parents in a car accident, Shriner and his twin brother Wil moved to Texas to live with their grandmother. Shriner started his career as a door-to-door salesman for Fuller Brush before becoming an actor. He first appeared as Scott Baldwin in General Hospital in 1977 and has had multiple stints on the show, as well as playing Jeb Hampton on the NBC soap opera Texas in 1980. He has made numerous appearances in other TV shows and movies throughout his career.
