Kingsley Ben-Adir

Kingsley Ben-Adir (born November 20, 1986) is a British actor known for his work in both theater and television. He has appeared in various plays in London theaters and gained recognition for his roles as pathologist Marcus Summer in ITV's detective drama Vera and private detective Karim Washington in the second season of Netflix's The OA. Additionally, he portrayed characters in the fourth and fifth series of BBC One's Peaky Blinders. In 2020, Ben-Adir starred as Malcolm X in the Amazon Studios film One Night in Miami... He attended Rhyl Street Primary School and William Ellis School before graduating from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2011. Ben-Adir and his mother converted to Judaism and adopted the surname "Ben-Adir."
