Kiran Sonia Sawar Biography
Kiran Sonia Sawar is a Scottish actress known for her role in the one-off drama Murdered by My Father. She appeared in the episode 'Crocodile' of Black Mirror's fourth season in 2017. Sawar, of Pakistani descent, grew up in Pollokshields, Glasgow, and attended the University of St Andrews, where she earned a degree in Marine and Environmental Biology. She trained at the Oxford School of Drama before making her acting debut in theatre. Sawar gained critical acclaim for her lead role in the BBC drama Murdered by My Father, and also portrayed Cordelia in the stage adaptation of Brideshead Revisited. She has been cast in the movie Meg 2: The Trench, playing the character Sal.
