Kirsten Caroline Dunst is an American actress, born on April 30, 1982. She made her acting debut in Woody Allen's short film Oedipus Wrecks in 1989. Dunst gained recognition for her role as child vampire Claudia in Interview with the Vampire (1994), which earned her a Golden Globe nomination. She also appeared in Little Women (1994), Jumanji (1995), and Small Soldiers (1998).
