Ko Chang-seok

Ko Chang-seok (born October 13, 1970) is a South Korean actor known for his work in both stage and film. Beginning his career in theater, he performed in various plays and musicals before transitioning to small roles in movies. Prior to acting, Ko worked on farms and in iron foundries. He gained recognition for his standout performances in director Jang Hoon's films, particularly as the movie director in Rough Cut (2008) and the Vietnamese gang boss in Secret Reunion (2010). With his notable roles, Ko has become one of the most in-demand supporting actors in Korean cinema. In The Showdown (2011), Ko's real-life wife and daughter portrayed his character's family.
