Konnie Huq

Konnie Huq is a British television and radio presenter, screenwriter, and children's author. She is best known for her role as the longest-serving female presenter of the British children's television programme Blue Peter, which she presented from 1997 to 2008. Huq has also appeared as a presenter and guest on various shows, including the 2010 series of The Xtra Factor on ITV2. In addition to her television career, Huq co-wrote the Black Mirror episode 'Fifteen Million Merits' with her husband, Charlie Brooker. She is also an accomplished children's author, with books such as 'Cookie and the Most Annoying Boy in the World' and 'Fearless Fairy Tales: The Perfect Book for Homeschooling Fun and Inspiration' to her name.
