Kris Kristofferson Biography
Kris Kristofferson is an American retired country singer, songwriter, and actor. Born on June 22, 1936, he gained fame for his songwriting credits, which include hits like 'Me and Bobby McGee', 'For the Good Times', 'Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down', and 'Help Me Make It Through the Night'. In 1985, Kristofferson joined the country music supergroup The Highwaymen, along with Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Johnny Cash. As an actor, he has appeared in notable films such as 'Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid' (1973), 'Blume in Love' (1973), 'Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore' (1974), and 'A Star Is Born' (1976), for which he won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor. He has also appeared in the Blade film trilogy (1998–2004) and other films throughout his career.
