Krist Novoselic
Krist Anthony Novoselic (born May 16, 1965) is an American musician and activist. He co-founded the rock band Nirvana, where he served as the bassist. Alongside Kurt Cobain, Novoselic formed Nirvana in 1987 and the band quickly gained recognition as part of the Seattle grunge scene. They released their debut album, Bleach, in 1989, followed by the highly successful albums Nevermind in 1991 and In Utero in 1993. Following the tragic death of Cobain in 1994, Nirvana disbanded. Novoselic went on to form Sweet 75 in 1995 and Eyes Adrift in 2002. Novoselic continues to be involved in music and activism, advocating for political and social issues.
