Connolly also had a starring role as Christina Gallagher on the Netflix series House of Cards. She has appeared in recurring roles on CBS daytime soap operas Guiding Light and As the World Turns. In 2014, she played Bess Houdini in the A&E miniseries Houdini alongside Adrien Brody.
