Kristian Bruun, born on October 25, 1979, is a Canadian actor known for his notable roles in various films and television shows. He gained recognition for his performances in Orphan Black, Murdoch Mysteries, The Recruit, The Girl Who Escaped, and The Rookie (Mystery Man). Bruun was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He attended Valley Forge Military Academy in Pennsylvania before obtaining a B.A. in drama from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. Bruun honed his acting skills at the George Brown Theatre School in Toronto and trained under David Rotenberg at the Professional Actors Lab. His acting career began in 2003 with his first screen role in Good Morning Tomorrow. Since then, he has appeared in several other productions, including Nikita, Blood Pressure, and Play the Film.
