Kristina Wayborn

Kristina Wayborn, born Britt-Inger Johansson on September 24, 1950, is a Swedish actress who gained recognition in the United Kingdom and the United States. She started her career as Miss Sweden in 1970 and was a semi-finalist in the Miss Universe pageant the same year. In 1980, Wayborn portrayed Greta Garbo in the television movie The Silent Lovers, which brought her to the attention of James Bond film producers. She is best known for her role as Magda in Octopussy (1983), where she showcased her martial arts skills. During filming, she unfortunately broke several toes. Wayborn's performance in the film showcased her talent in a time when strong female characters were not as common in movies.
