Kristofer Hivju

Kristofer Hivju (born December 7, 1978) is a Norwegian actor known for his roles in popular TV shows and movies. He gained widespread recognition for portraying Tormund Giantsbane in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones. Hivju also appeared as Connor Rhodes in The Fate of the Furious. Born in Oslo, Norway, he attended the Danish subdivision of the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts, graduating in 2004. Hivju began his career in television series and films, including Manhunt and Fox Grønland. He has also performed in theater productions and written scripts for short films. Apart from his acting career, Hivju has portrayed Viking King Olav II in Norwegian-produced documentary film Olav, and has appeared in From Hate to Hope.
