Krysten Alyce Ritter (born December 16, 1981) is an American actress and model. She gained prominence for her role as Jane Margolis in the AMC drama series Breaking Bad (2009–2010) and reprised the role in the spinoff film El Camino (2019). Ritter further established herself with lead roles in the ABC sitcom Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23 (2012–2013), the Netflix superhero series Jessica Jones (2015–2019), and the Netflix miniseries The Defenders (2017). In film, she appeared in various romantic comedies such as 27 Dresses (2007), What Happens in Vegas (2008), Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009), and She's Out of My League (2010). Ritter also wrote, co-produced, and starred in the comedy Life Happens (2011) and has had roles in other films including Vamps (2012), Listen Up Philip (2014), Big Eyes (2014), The Hero (2017), and Nightbooks (2021).
