Ksenia Solo

Ksenia Solo (born 8 October 1987) is a Latvian-Canadian actress known for her roles in various television series. She gained recognition for portraying Mackenzie 'Kenzi' Malikov on Lost Girl and Peggy Shippen on Turn: Washington's Spies. Solo also appeared as Natasha in the 2010 American television series Life Unexpected and as Shay Davydov in Season 3 of Orphan Black. Her recent work includes being part of the main cast in the two seasons of the series Project Blue Book (2019–20). Born in Riga, Latvian SSR, Solo moved to Toronto with her family at the age of five. She initially studied ballet but had to quit due to a back injury. Solo's mother is a former ballerina-turned-actress. She earned Gemini Awards in 2005 and 2006 for Best Performance in a Children's or Youth Program or Series for her role as Zoey Jones on renegadepress.com.
