Kurt Max Runte Biography
Kurt Max Runte is a Canadian actor based in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is known for his performance as Dale Milbury in the 2016 film Hello Destroyer, for which he won the Vancouver Film Critics Circle award for Best Supporting Actor in a Canadian Film. Originally from Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Runte started his acting career in Edmonton after graduating from the theatre program at the University of Victoria. He has primarily worked on stage, with notable roles in productions such as The Monument, The Fruit Machine, Hamlet, Communicating Doors, and Closer. Runte was a nominee for the Jessie Richardson Theatre Award for Best Actor in 2000. He has also appeared in numerous supporting roles in various movies and TV shows.
