Kurt Metzger
Kurt Metzger (born May 24, 1977) is an American stand-up comedian, writer, and actor. He gained recognition for his work on the television series Inside Amy Schumer, for which he received an Emmy Award and a Peabody Award. Raised in Toms River, New Jersey, Metzger was brought up in the Jehovah's Witness faith and became an ordained minister at 17 before leaving the religion around the age of 21. He began his stand-up career in New Jersey and Philadelphia before moving to New York City. Metzger has appeared on various shows, including Showtime's White Boyz in the Hood and Comedy Central's Live at Gotham. In 2011, he released his debut album Kurt Metzger Talks to Young People About Sex through Comedy Central Records.
