Kyle Gibson

Kyle Benjamin Gibson (born October 23, 1987) is an American professional baseball pitcher currently playing for the Baltimore Orioles in Major League Baseball (MLB). He was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the first round of the 2009 MLB Draft and made his MLB debut in 2013. Throughout his career, Gibson has also played for the Texas Rangers and Philadelphia Phillies. Born in Greenfield, Indiana, he attended Greenfield-Central High School, where he led the Cougars to a sectional championship and regional final during his junior year. In his senior year, Gibson had an impressive record of 8-6 with a 0.98 ERA and 140 strikeouts, leading Greenfield to the Elite Eight.
