Laine MacNeil Biography
Laine MacNeil (born October 28, 1996) is a Canadian actress best known for her role as Patty Farrell in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid film franchise. Born in Surrey, British Columbia, MacNeil made her motion picture debut at the age of 13. She attended Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary School and began her acting career at a young age. In 2009, MacNeil appeared in the film Mr. Troop Mom alongside George Lopez. The following year, she achieved international recognition for her portrayal of Patty Farrell in the first Diary of a Wimpy Kid film. MacNeil has received five Young Artist Award nominations, including a win for Best Young Supporting Actress in a Feature Film.
