Lamman Rucker Biography
Lamman Rucker is an American actor, born on October 6, 1971, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He gained recognition for his roles in the daytime soap operas As the World Turns and All My Children. Rucker's career expanded with his appearances in films such as The Temptations and Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married? series, as well as the television adaptation of Meet the Browns. He currently stars as Jacob Greenleaf in the drama series Greenleaf on the Oprah Winfrey Network. Rucker is married to Kelly Davis Rucker, a Hampton University graduate. Additionally, he stars in the BET+ drama The Black Hamptons. Rucker has roots in Barbados and spent his early years in the Washington, DC, Maryland area, where he developed a passion for acting through pageants and school theater.
