Lamont Bentley Biography
Lamont Bentley (October 25, 1973 – January 19, 2005) was an American actor and rapper. He is best known for his role as Hakeem Campbell on the UPN sitcom Moesha and its spin-off The Parkers. Bentley also appeared as Crazy K in the 1995 horror film Tales from the Hood and as C-Money in the 2001 film The Wash featuring Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Bentley moved to Los Angeles with his mother to pursue her singing career. He dropped out of high school to pursue acting and worked odd jobs while waiting for his big break. Bentley's youthful appearance allowed him to portray teen characters well into his twenties, and he secured various small television roles.
