Lana Clarkson Biography
Lana Clarkson (April 5, 1962 – February 3, 2003) was an American actress and fashion model. She gained recognition in the 1980s for her roles in several sword-and-sorcery films. Born in Long Beach, California, Clarkson was raised in Sonoma County before moving to the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles. She attended Cloverdale High School and Pacific Union College Preparatory School. Clarkson began her career in the entertainment industry as an actress and fashion model, securing small roles in both film and television. Tragically, she was shot and killed in 2003 by record producer Phil Spector, who was convicted of second-degree murder in 2009.
