Lance Armstrong

Lance Armstrong, born Lance Edward Armstrong (né Gunderson) on September 18, 1971, is an American former professional road racing cyclist. He gained international recognition for his unprecedented feat of winning the Tour de France a record seven consecutive times from 1999 to 2005. However, his titles were later revoked due to an investigation into doping allegations, known as the Lance Armstrong doping case, which revealed his use of performance-enhancing drugs throughout his career. As a triathlete, Armstrong won the national sprint-course triathlon championship in 1989 and 1990. He turned professional in 1992, joining the Motorola team.More
