Lance Barber
Lance Barber is an American actor, born on June 29, 1973, in Battle Creek, Michigan. He gained recognition for his role as George Cooper, Sr. on the CBS sitcom Young Sheldon, which premiered in 2017 and is ongoing. Additionally, Barber portrayed Bill Ponderosa on the FX show It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. His passion for acting was sparked at the age of seven after attending a performance of Grease at the Barn Theatre. Barber honed his skills at Pennfield High School and Kellogg Community College. He later joined The Second City improvisational comedy troupe in Chicago, before moving to Los Angeles. Barber's television debut was in the improvisational sketch show On the Spot in 2003. However, his breakthrough role came in 2005 when he played Paulie G. in the HBO series The Comeback, alongside Lisa Kudrow.
