Lance E. Nichols is an American actor born on July 13, 1955, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He gained recognition for his portrayal of dentist Larry Williams in the television series Treme. Nichols attended McDonogh 35 College Preparatory Charter High School and later graduated from the University of New Orleans. He has appeared in notable films such as The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and House of Cards. As a native of New Orleans, Nichols has frequently worked on films shot in the city. In addition to his television and film work, he starred as The River King in the martial arts drama series Into the Badlands from 2015 to 2019.
