Lara Jill Miller (born April 20, 1967) is an American actress known for her roles in various TV shows and animated series. She gained popularity for her portrayal of Samantha 'Sam' Kanisky in the 1980s sitcom Gimme a Break! as well as Kathy in The Amanda Show. Miller has lent her voice to several iconic characters, including the titular characters in Clifford's Puppy Days, The Life and Times of Juniper Lee, and Henry Hugglemonster. She has also voiced Widget in Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, Lambie in Doc McStuffins, and Lisa Loud in The Loud House. Miller has an extensive list of roles in animated shows, such as Fink in OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes, Libby Stein-Torres in The Ghost and Molly McGee, Izzie in SciGirls, Allie in Curious George, and Cat in If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, to Lois and Stanley Miller, she discovered her passion for acting in a dinner theater she found in a newspaper ad.
