Lara Logan
Lara Logan (born 29 March 1971) is a South African television and radio journalist and war correspondent. She began her career in South Africa in the 1990s, working for various news organizations. Logan gained recognition for her reporting on the American invasion of Afghanistan in 2001. In 2002, she was hired as a correspondent for CBS News and later became their Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent. However, in 2013, a story she reported on the 2012 Benghazi attack was retracted due to factual errors, leading to a leave of absence. Logan left CBS in 2018 and joined the Sinclair Broadcast Group in 2019. She joined Fox Nation, a streaming service by Fox News, in January 2020, but left in March 2022.
