Lark Voorhies, born Lark Holloway on March 25, 1974, is an American actress known for her role as Lisa Marie Turtle on the NBC sitcom Saved by the Bell from 1989 to 1993. Voorhies has been nominated for the Young Artist Award six times, winning in 1990 and 1993 for her exceptional work on the show. Born in Nashville, Tennessee to Wayne and Tricia Holloway, she later adopted the stage name Voorhies. Her mother named her 'Lark' after a character in the 1972 film Cool Breeze. At the age of two, the family relocated to Pasadena, California. Despite a rocky start at her first audition, Voorhies went on to appear in a national television commercial for Universal Studios Tour at the age of 12. Her talent and dedication have made her a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.
