Larry Block Biography
Larry Block (1942-2012) was an American stage, film, television, and radio actor. Born in New York City, he graduated with a B.A. in English from the University of Rhode Island. Block appeared frequently on Joe Frank's radio shows. His notable film credits include 'Shamus' (1973), 'Slap Shot' (1977), 'Heaven Can Wait' (1978), 'Hardcore' (1979), 'First Family' (1980), 'After Hours' (1985), 'Cocktail' (1988), 'Robots' (1988), and 'High Stakes' (1989). He married Jolly King in 1981 and had two children, Zachary and Zoe. Block passed away in New York City in 2012, three weeks before his 70th birthday.
