Larry King
Larry King (born Lawrence Harvey Zeiger; November 19, 1933 – January 23, 2021) was an American author, radio and television host. Known for conducting over 60,000 interviews on radio and TV, King received numerous awards throughout his career, including 2 Peabodys, an Emmy, and 10 Cable ACE Awards. Born and raised in New York City to Jewish immigrant parents, King attended Lafayette High School in Brooklyn. He gained national prominence in 1978 as the host of The Larry King Show, an all-night nationwide call-in radio program. From 1985 to 2010, he hosted the nightly interview television program Larry King Live on CNN. In later years, King hosted Larry King Now and Politicking with Larry King on various channels.
