Larry Owens Biography
Larry Owens (born January 8, 1983) is an American professional basketball player. He played college basketball for Yavapai College and Oral Roberts University. Owens had an impressive sophomore season at Yavapai College, averaging 22.7 points and 10.6 rebounds per game. He was named in the second team NJCAA All-American and the ACCAC MVP. After transferring to Oral Roberts University, Owens joined the Golden Eagles for his redshirted junior season. He was named in the Mid-Con All-Newcomer team for his outstanding first season. In his senior season, he was named in the 2006 All-MCC first team and the 2006 All-MCC Defensive Player of the Year. Owens went undrafted in the 2006 NBA Draft.
